The tax calculator
The calculator estimates income tax and UIF on a regular salary, using the SARS tables for the 2026/27 tax year. It does not include bonuses, fringe benefits, allowances, other income or the additional medical expenses credit. Your actual tax is worked out on assessment.
The tax calendar
Dates are the general SARS due dates for the 2026/27 tax year, moved to the last business day before where a date falls on a weekend or public holiday. Your own dates can differ, so always check your SARS profile.
Professional registration
Our directors are chartered accountants, CA(SA). Everyone at Plumbline who gives tax advice or submits returns for clients is a registered tax practitioner, as section 240 of the Tax Administration Act requires. We do not perform statutory audits; where a company needs an audit, we refer it to an auditor registered with IRBA.
Fees
Prices on this website include VAT at 15% and exclude fees charged by SARS, CIPC or other bodies. Your fee is confirmed in a written agreement before any work starts.
